This assertion was added by bug 508473, which landed after bug 460389 was fixed, but before it's testcase was able to make it into the tree (due to being a non-public security bug).
Bug 731659 triggers the same assertion, so may be related.
This testcase is already in the tree as a crashtest, but marked as triggering an assertion.
