In tablet mode, if you have a finger resting in the empty space in the tab bar (like if you're holding the tablet with your left hand and your thumb is resting there), and you try to use a finger on the other hand to scroll the content page, you wind up initiating a pinch zoom. I think the tab bar should be considered out of bounds for pinch zoom, it certainly doesn't feel right.
We'll need multitouch support to do this (or to teach the platform what our frontend looks like, which we don't want to do).
