(Note: this is filed as part of the “Paper Cut” bugs — we assume that there may be multiple existing bugs on this. Please make them block this bug, and we will de-dupe if they are indeed exactly the same. Thanks!)
To reproduce:
1. Open up 200 tabs at once
2. Want to stop them all
Recommendation:
We have the functionality to force a refresh, we should have the same ability (through command keys) to force a stop. This should stop all tabs that are currently loading.

Overloading the stop button for this would be tricky given that the stop button turns into a reload button when the current tab finishes loading.
I'd prefer to make "open 200 tabs" less damaging (a la BarTab) or easier to undo entirely (that is, close all the just-opened tabs). I don't think "stop loading all tabs" is an especially useful thing to be able to do.
Summary: A "really stop everything" button, Cmd/Shift-Stop? → A "stop all tabs" button, Cmd/Shift-Stop?

I have to second Jesse. The requested functionality would mainly be a workaround for bad parallel loading performance in Fx. If people really want it, an extension is the way to go.

Yes searching "stop all tabs" shows many people want this.
No one shouldn't be forced to resort to extensions.

Often one middle clicks many links, only to find one of them apparently is some whopper, gobbling tons of bandwidth. Rather than having to dig one by one thru the tabs, something like SHIFT+ESC should stop them all.
