User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4 When a page is scrolled, if the mouse pointer is over a flash object/element on the page, the scrolling (with mouse scroll) stops and doesn't work. It seems like Firefox is getting stuck, but once the mouse pointer leaves the space of flash object scrolling is once again possible. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a page that has flash objects/elements 2.Start scrolling with mouse scroll 3.Place the mouse pointer over a flash object/element 4.Try to scroll with the mouse scroll 5.Scrolling stops working 6.Move away the mouse pointer 7.Scrolling works again Actual Results: Scrolling stops working once the mouse pointer is placed over a flash object/element. Expected Results: Scrolling should work no mater if the mouse pointer is placed over a flash object/element while scrolling.
example URL ? This will btw. never work on linux
You can try it with any Youtube video page. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYb6dGrizXM
This was fixed in the new flash 10, can you try updating and see if it helps? Either that or this is a dupe of bug 207256.
I'm already using Flash 10. Bug 207256 is the same as this one, though.
