User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060429 BonEcho/2.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060429 BonEcho/2.0a1 This is similar to #310921 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310921). But if you take the DT tag away it works fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Load the test case html and use your tester to get the accessible object and rectangle as you move your mouse over each part of the text and you'll see for italic text it gives the wrong rectangle. You can use my tester at http://www.BibleThingy.com/SubstringBoundsDemo.zip which retrieve the IAcessible nodes wherever you wave your mouse in FF.
