User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0
Steps to reproduce:
This bug only exists on wayland linux, but not on x11; and persists on all flavors of desktop firefox. I have also tested it on nightly with a fresh profile.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open a fresh profile of firefox in wayland.
- Go to any website that has a scrollbar.
- Move the mouse pointer to the very right edge of the window.
Actual results:
As you move the pointer you will notice the scrollbar get focus, but lose it when the pointer is at the very edge.
This is not reproducible in X11.
Expected results:
The scrollbar should stay in focus when the pointer is at the very right edge of the window, just like in X11.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Is that a recent regression? Did it worked before?
Please attach your about:support page.
Which compositor/desktop do you run?
Thanks.

It has not worked since I started using wayland (this bug does not exist on x11).
I am using sway version 1.11 on archlinux.
Thanks in advance!

Can you try different compositor like Gnome/KDE?
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_Firefox_problems#Testing_different_Wayland_compositor
Thanks.
I was able to reproduce the bug on other wayland compositors, that do not use xwayland, such as Hyprland; but I had not tested it on any of the mainstream desktop environments.
I can confirm that this bug does not exist on KDE wayland, and seemingly only on wayland compositors which are able to operate without xwayland.
