Steps to reproduce:

  • Copy something in firefox running under wayland (sway 1.4)
  • Try to past it in another app (or run wl-paste)

Actual results:

  • The other process hangs

Expected results:

  • Paste should proceed as usual.

This bug affects all wayland desktops, not just sway. Im on GNOME 3.36, Fedora 31.

I have the exact same issue on sway-git r6235.5ed01c86-1 with firefox 74.0-2. Pasting from an xwayland application to firefox does work as expected.
