this failure started increasing on Oct 2nd, there is a large pool of windows 7 reftests failing on font related tests, :jfkthame, is this something unique or probably related to some of the other failures we have seen in the last few days?

I doubt it's unique, but I can readily believe that font-loading timing changes resulting from bug 1381434 (Oct 2nd) could have affected its frequency.

:jfkthame, I assume this is different the the failures we see related to the graphics:text component?  If they are different how can we get the right person to look at this?

I suspect it's the same (they may get filed more-or-less randomly as Layout:Text or Graphics:Text) but it's hard to be sure given that we don't know what the underlying cause really is.
