Joe says:
This seems to be a different issue [than bug 1236756] that just happens to show the same behavior. I am still verifying, but my suspicion is that this is a result of AAC tags being used that our MainConcept decoder does not support. It is possible this could be fixed by updating to a newer version of MainConcept or it might require additional work even with the latest decoder. You should probably open a new bug since these issues seem to be unrelated. This fix I have no time estimate on yet.
cpearce says:
Fallback to Flash playback works on those videos, so if you're using the same MainConcept decoder in Flash as in the Primetime GMP, then that's weird that Flash can play that audio stream but your GMP can't.
Here's a Facebook video that fails for me, but succeeds for Flash:

In Firefox Nightly on my Win10 desktop I get fuzz at the start of playback, but playback recovers. In my WinXP VM, playback fails.

I sent Chris Pearce an updated plugin that resolves the issue for me. Once I have his confirmation, I will package up the new build and send it out.

The latest v17 build (primetime_gmp_win_x86_gmc_40673.zip) has been posted and resolves this.
